Lunar Occultation of Saturn 02/03/07

This is a combination of 9 images taken in the early hours of Friday 2 March 2007 as the Moon glided past Saturn. I can count and know that there are 10 Saturns - the third from the top/left is a clone of one of the others. The remaining 9 are genuine separate images. The pictures are not at equal intervals but the whole sequence lasted 50 minutes. Canon 20Da at prime focus of VC200L.

These pictures were taken with an 80mm refractor. My view to the West is interrupted by trees and so it was necessary to keep moving the scope to get a clear view. This was not practicable with the 200mm scope.
