North America Nebula and Pelican Nebula Mosaic
This image of the North America region of Cygnus consists of 4 frames stitched together. The above image has been reduced in size so that the whole can be seen at once. It was taken on the nights of 2, 3, 5, 6 June 2013.

This the first image taken with my new Atik 460EX mono CCD camera. It was taken with a William Optics Megrez 72 refractor with a 0.8x focal reducer and a hydrogen alpha filter.
Each frame consisted of about 2 hours exposure in 10 minute subs. MaximDL was used to control the camera, to guide and collect the data. It was also used to calibrate and stack the four separate panels. After processing in Photoshop the frames were stitched using RegiStar.
