The Eastern Veil Nebula - Caldwell 33

Caldwell 33 - The Eastern Veil Nebula.

Around 15,000 years ago a star died spectacularly in the constellation of Cygnus. The Veil Nebula is the remnant of that explosion.
It is around 2,500 light-years away.
Technical details:
Taken with a Canon 40D with a 200mm f2.8 lens on iso 800 and consists of 31 x 60s exposures stacked in DeepSkyStacker and processed in Photoshop.
