The Sun

Images on this page have been taken through a Coronado Personal Solar Telescope (PST) with an Imaging Source DMK21AU.AS mono camera. The camera produces an avi file that is processed and stacked in RegiStax and further processed in Photoshop CS2. The colour is artificial and has been added afterwards. The visual view through the PST gives a deep red image due to being tuned to look at only the hydrogen alpha light emitted by the Sun's surface.
